This organization is investigating, practicing, and teaching historic painting and sculpture techniques. The site is still in development, as the directors add more articles and photos.
Although it's harder to program, aligning the home page to the top right sets it apart in a subtle way. The link text can be easily changed, including the box around it.
I positioned text around the existing logo, (taken from the painted door of a northern artist.) The navigation on all but the home page is included with PHP, making it easier to update the content or look. They also have a blog with RSS feed to update their events.
