This client is a modern dance company with a German Expressionist aesthetic, which I worked toward in the site. However, for the page about dance classes for children, I used a color photo (all others are black and white), filtered to achieve an artistic look and to obscure the identity of the children.
To help the client update the site on his own, I gave him a crash course in HTML and selected a host with an easy file manager interface.
This site, with most of the original design and code from 2000, is still live (as of May 2010). I'm proud that it lasted a whole decade!
